Exhibitions And Events

the events and exhibitions I have worked on

An Unexpected Turnabout

An Unexpected Turnabout was an exhibition I set up at 6:50pm on the11th February.

In the art world the artist relies on the public to reflect upon their work, to give good and bad feedback, some go because they feel it is Compulsory to go, but in my idea, I can decide who can view my work, the more private the event the more special it is because the people who want to see the work have more of a chance of looking at the work in peace without the people who are not even interested in it in the first place.

The people that came were the ones who truly got to see something special and personal, because they were there which in turn makes them part of the art. (click on images to enlarge)

Liverpool Biennial 2012

The 2012 Liverpool Biennial was probably the biggest and most inspiring exhibition that i worked on which Inspired me to want to study towards becoming a curator or working in a gallery, I was mainly based in the Copperas Hill building, a large abandoned Royal Mail sorting office.

I was in charge of talking to people about the work on show, making sure they were satisfied, that the artwork remained safe and the building kept clean, I did also help out with some maintenance issues. From this I made many new friends, got a satisfaction from helping people and doing something that I enjoyed as each day was different.
